Why PowerFal

From our base near the port of Falmouth, we provide the support and personal service you’d expect from a local operation on an international scale.

Our customers in the marine and industrial sectors vary from ship and boat owners to vessel repair yards and power plant operators, and the relationships we build with them are the key to our longevity.

Our quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2005 and we achieved Achilles B1 verification in 2014.Our fitters receive on-going training ensuring attention to detail while working and the ability to monitor and develop high standards through the working procedures.

A commitment to customer service and after care helps us to build long lasting commercial relationships. We fully support our 12-month warranty on spare parts and labour and if something is not right we stay focussed until the issue is resolved.

By developing multi-skills in our frontline fitters we can tackle a broad range of maintenance and repair operations. The breadth and depth of our collective experience means that we’re well placed to overcome challenges, develop technical innovations and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers.

An excellent record of achievement is reflected through continuity of service and strong customer retention. We believe clear and open lines of communication are key factors in achieving this. Long standing customers such as A&P Group, Condor Ferries, W Stevenson & Sons to name a few consider us trusted partners and have continued using our services since we started out in 1995.

Transparency is our code of conduct when reporting the progress and status of projects, including associated timescales and budgetary developments. We lead with what is right for the project and not what is necessarily easiest for us and we operate an open door policy by inviting customers to inspect progress throughout the project.
